By accessing or using WorkFunder, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
WorkFunder is a marketplace connecting task posters (developers/businesses) with task workers. We facilitate task posting, proof verification, and payment processing but are not a party to agreements between posters and workers.
Developers may post tasks via the API or dashboard. You are responsible for clearly describing tasks, setting fair budgets, and reviewing submitted proofs promptly. Funds are held in escrow until proof is approved or a dispute is resolved.
Workers are independent contractors, not employees of WorkFunder. You are responsible for completing tasks as described and submitting accurate GPS-verified proofs. Misrepresentation of completed work may result in account termination.
Payments are processed via Stripe. WorkFunder charges a platform fee on each transaction. Workers receive payouts upon proof approval. Disputes are handled through our dispute resolution process.
WorkFunder is provided "as is." We are not liable for the quality of work performed, disputes between users, or any indirect damages arising from platform use.
